About Owl Hearing Clinic
Our Philosophy
Great hearing care isn’t about selling devices — it’s about understanding people.
We take the time to learn about your hearing concerns, your lifestyle, and what matters most to you. From there, we provide clear explanations, evidence-based recommendations, and transparent pricing so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
Our approach is grounded in:
Patient-centred appointments
Transparent hearing aid pricing
Independent, unbiased recommendations
Real-ear measurement and best-practice verification
Education and long-term support
Because better hearing starts with better care.
Anika Cai
MSc. Reg CASLPO
Audiologist & Owner
Hi, I’m Anika Cai — an Audiologist who believes hearing care should feel personal, thoughtful, and genuinely centred around you.
I’ve spent over 15 years working in audiology, and I still feel grateful every day to do this work. I hold a Master of Science in Audiology from the University of British Columbia and am a Registered Audiologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work across many parts of the hearing industry — including hearing aid manufacturers, large retail organizations, non-profits, hospitals, and independent private practices. I’ve also had the privilege of working with patients from infancy through to older adulthood, supporting individuals and families at every stage of life.
Along the way, I began to notice something that never sat quite right with me: too often, hearing care felt rushed, transactional, or driven by sales targets rather than people. I knew there had to be a better way.
That belief is what led me to create Owl Hearing — a place where care comes first, patients are heard, recommendations are thoughtful, and transparency is the standard, not the exception.
My goal is simple: to help you hear better in a way that feels comfortable, informed, and empowering — and to make sure you always feel listened to along the way.

Audiologist
Hi, I’m Debbie Zelisko — an Audiologist who believes thoughtful, patient-centred care makes all the difference.
My path in audiology has included both clinical care and leadership, and I’ve been fortunate to work across many areas of hearing healthcare throughout my career. I hold a PhD in Health Policy from the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree in Clinical Science in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario. I am also a Registered Audiologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and previously served as President of the College.
Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to lead national hearing care teams, mentor fellow audiologists, and contribute to professional councils. Each experience has reinforced the importance of putting people first and taking the time to truly listen.
In my day-to-day practice, I support patients aged 4 and up with hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting, cerumen management and tinnitus consultations, always taking a thoughtful and individualized approach to care.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find me volunteering in the community or enjoying the outdoors with friends and family.
Why Owl Hearing Exists
Early in my career, I began hearing the same frustrations from patients again and again.
People would tell me how difficult it was to find clear information about hearing care. They’d search online and see very little about pricing. They’d call clinics and leave still unsure of what things might cost. They’d read pages filled with technical language and feel more confused than informed.
It never felt right that something as important as your hearing health should feel so unclear.
So I set out to build a clinic that felt different.
Owl Hearing was created to be a place where information is shared openly, questions are always welcome, and conversations feel honest and straightforward. A place where you can understand your options, take your time, and make decisions without pressure.
Our Clinic Spaces
Each Owl Hearing location was thoughtfully designed to feel calm, welcoming, and unhurried — more like a quiet retreat than a typical medical office.
From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice the difference. Natural light, warm finishes, and comfortable seating create a space where you can take a breath. We serve coffee and tea, and we intentionally schedule appointments to ensure you never feel rushed.
Behind the scenes, our clinics are equipped with advanced diagnostic and verification technology, including modern sound-treated test rooms and real-ear measurement systems. We believe in combining a comfortable environment with evidence-based tools — because exceptional care should feel both personal and precise.
Whether you’re visiting us in Roncesvalles, Forest Hill, or Rosedale Toronto, you can expect the same thoughtful experience at every location.
